TOURIST RUN AMSTERDAM MARATHON PROGRAM
Tourist Run Amsterdam is proud to present our Amsterdam Marathon special events.
The Amsterdam Marathon is on Sunday the 17th of Oktober 2010. We, Paul and HP, founders of Tourist Run Amsterdam, have
the privilage to run in Amsterdam all year long. We are happy to be able to share running in this great city with
around 10.000 international visitors who come to Amsterdam for the marathon.
If we may quote the official Amsterdam Marathon website;
"With its many highlights, the route through Amsterdam city centre would also fit a
sightseeing tour at a slower pace, taking in the Olympic Stadium, built in 1928,
the nature reserves on both sides of the river Amstel, the Maritime Museum,
the historic canals, Rijksmuseum and the attractive Vondelpark which will
feature twice during the marathon.
The route leads the participants through the city centre of Amsterdam and passes
many highlights, which are definitely worth a separate sightseeing tour."
We couldn't agree more!
On Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th of Oktober at 9.00hrs you can join our city center fun run.
It is our standard Tourist Run of 7,5Km which cover all the highlights you can find under Tour info.
We jog at an easy pace and we invite marathonners and supporting friends and family to join.
We take you deeper in the city center of Amsterdam then would be possible with the race.
On Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th of Oktober at 11.00hrs you can join us on the "Marathon experience" tour.
We will show you the first 7Km of the official Marathon route with start and finish at the Olympic stadion.
